The Denver Nuggets will host the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday evening in Colorado. The Nuggets may be missing one of their top players for the game, as starting point guard Jamal Murray is listed as injured.
According to Altitude TV’s Katy Winge on Tuesday: “Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (right hamstring tendinosis) and Jamal Murray (bilateral tibia inflammation) are both questionable for tomorrow’s game against Sacramento”Murray has appeared in 40 games and averages 20.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game, shooting 46.8% from the field and 41.1% from three-point range. The Nuggets are coming off a 112-95 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, and Murray exited early due to an injury.
The 2023 NBA Champion finished with three points and two rebounds in 18 minutes of play, shooting 1/5 from the floor. The Nuggets begin the evening with a 36-18 record in 54 games, making them the Western Conference’s third seed. They have a 6-4 record over their last ten games but are currently on a two-game losing streak. Following their game against the Kings, they will host the Washington Wizards on February 22nd.
