Nikola Jokic, the Denver Nuggets’ great center, is assembling a roster of European NBA All-Stars. Jokic believes Luka Doncic would lead the ball club of European stars.
Jokic and Doncic would be joined on the team by Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dario Saric, and Nikola Vucevic, Jokic stated. Jokic made the remarks about a European All-Star Team while preparing for Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game. Jokic plays as a starter for the Nuggets in the Western Conference.
It would be incredibly great to witness a European All-Star team led by Doncic and Jokic. Jokic leads the Nuggets in double-doubles this season, averaging 26 points and 12 rebounds per game. He would be perfectly complemented by Doncic, who is having an excellent season with the Dallas Mavericks. This season, the Mavericks guard has averaged more than 34 points per game in Dallas.
On Sunday, when the NBA All-Star Game begins, viewers will get a preview of what that lineup might look like. Doncic and Jokic will both start for the Western Conference team in the contest. They’ll be joined by LeBron James, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Kevin Durant. Bogdanovic, Saric, and Vucevic will have to wait until next year to try to make one of the rosters.
It’ll be fascinating to see whether Jokic suggests to the NBA that future All-Star Weekends include a game including European stars. The events have changed significantly over the years, and players are offering suggestions on how to improve the weekend’s festivities.
