No matter how often I watch that video (and we’re getting closer to the writing of this article), it still makes me laugh every time. Not many come close to this, even from the minute I arrived during the All Star Weekend. Nothing about Jaylen in the Dunk Conteѕt, nothing about the Jays looking amazing in last night’s fake game. Here is where it’s at, this is the good stuff.

And while some people are already using this as an opportunity to try and portray the fact that the two had never met as a sort of “problem” for the Boston Celtics, I only have one thing to say to them.

Do not let them ruіn thіs moment.

Inѕtead, foсus on whаt Jаyson Tаtum hаd to ѕay аbout the whole іnteractіon.

The ѕecond my eyeѕ ѕaw thіs moment.

I mean holy sh*t. Not only am I very certain that we are witnessing a legally binding passing of the torch between the two, but based on my scientific research Look at that smile! Larry Legend is giving Jayson Tatum his basketball skills instead of a very, very, very crucial layoff push! No way did Larry Bird smile!

It’s difficult for an old person like me to describe how insane this moment is, and I wouldn’t exactly expect a fan of Celtic culture, let alone one who is younger, to really get it. This represented both my Celtic history and present and future in a single image or instant. I had a same wave of emotion as I did when KG defeated Russia after the Celtics won the title in 2008. It is consistent.

The fact that I didn’t find a way to be born earlier and hence missed out on all of Prime Larry Bird is one of my biggest regrets in life. When I saw the faked up back then, in the early 1990s, it was nothing like the stories I had been hearing growing up about the mythology of Larry Bird. Let’s go ahead a few decades, and if there is one player who continues to figure out how to pull off a Larry Bird impression, it is Jayson Tatum.

The idea is yours.

The notion that Tatum is currently on a path that would have put him up there among the greatest Celts of all time is not wholly absurd. I have lived my entire life without witnessing a player execute this much of a Larry Bird impression that wasn’t really Larry Bird, and I believe it’s strange to suggest that the only thing that’s really wrong with Tatum is the turtles. That’s the reason the handshake between the two is so crucial. You are unable to convince me that some layoff juju isn’t being changed there.

Not to add to the stress, but this is what would happen to the Celtic people in the tiny time of this era. He turns into an Instant Celtic God. Now that I don’t use legends, I serve God. What if we live in a world where we see him in multiple dimensions? When it comes to Celtics greetings, he will be allowed to enter whichever room Larry Bird resides in. Not everyone gets them there, but some do. Personally, I would start with one and see what transpires, but that’s just me.

That’s what this event meant for younger fans like me. A bridge connecting two eras, and possibly two of the most beautiful Celtic people we have ever seen. Rallying Larry Bird Celtics really doesn’t help him practise. Expanding upon my childhood memories of closing my eyes and thinking of Boston Celtics, notably Beverly Ruell, Larry Bird, and Walter McCarty. Unquestionably a part of the Celtic Mount Rushmore, Bird was everything. As far as we are aware, this was the last Infinite Stone.

If we’re being honest, this was a moment I didn’t think we’d see, considering that Bird has essentially been off the grid for years. The man didn’t even show up for the NBA Title 75 festivities. The fact that we not only obtained it, but also this era with the way the Celts are currently acting and what their expectations are has caused my blood to boil in dangerous places.

Excuse me, but I have to get this bad boy up so I can show you what kind of hit we can expect in the second half of the season and playoffs now that the two have officially joined forces.
