Steph Curry named Luka, Shai, and Anthony Edwards as the players that will lead the NBA after he, Durant, and LeBron retire!

Stephen Curry understands that he and other NBA superstars will not be around forever, and the Golden State Warriors star believes there are three guys who can carry the mantle once he, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant retire.

Curry identified Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves as guys who can someday lead the league.

Durant’s list featured Doncic, Gilgeous-Alexander, and Edwards, as well as his Phoenix Suns colleague Devin Booker, Tyrese Maxey of the Philadelphia 76ers, and Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers.

Curry, James, and Durant remain among the league’s finest players, and as such, they have been selected to play in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday. Though the three of them are still at the top of their games, they are already making place for the next generation. According to the most recent Kia MVP Ladder for the season, 25-year-old Gilgeous-Alexander is placed second behind Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, while 24-year-old Doncic is ranked fourth, one position behind Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks.
