The Lakers sensation himself had the best time at NBA player Anthony Davis’ wedding in Los Angeles over the weekend. There is plenty of video to demonstrate this.

Davis married his longtime partner Marlen P. in front of loved ones, noteworthy friends, and former and current teammates.

The reception included a lot of singing and dancing, especially by the groom. He was overheard on the microphone pleading with his fiancée to “Never Make a Promise” by Dru Hill.

He was also seen swaying and singing on stage with New Edition during their performance of the classic “If It Isn’t Love.” At the occasion, an attendee captured the excitement while also attempting to record Adele, another guest, with her beverage and two-step. She is supposedly dating Rich Paul, LeBron James’ agent and pal.

Adele, LeBron James, Jared Dudley, Quinn Cook, and former teammates, including DeMarcus Cousins, attended, as did Davis’ other teammate Russell Westbrook (he and LeBron carpooled together, which we adore), Jared Dudley, and Quinn Cook.

Although Davis and his wedded wife have been together since at least 2017, their relationship has been relatively secret. Nala, their joint-born daughter, was born in 2017. In 2020, when asked about the influence of having his family follow him to Orlando during the legendary bubble season (during which the Lakers won the NBA Championship), he stated that their presence amid mediocre games and performances on the field was beneficial. Many athletes were unable to bring their families owing to issues such as their children’s school schedules and other obligations.
