Nikola Jokic celebrated his 29th birthday last week, but his teammates appear to have missed the memo on present giving. Following Denver’s victory over the Golden State Warriors, the Nuggets star made a hilarious remark during his postgame interview, expressing dissatisfaction at not receiving any gifts from his teammates.
Despite his birthday celebrations coinciding with his participation in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis, it is unclear whether Jokic received any gifts, especially given his absence from social media platforms.

“Bad teammates… terrible teammates.”
Another triple-double!
Meanwhile, on the court, Jokic dominated the Warriors, recording a triple-double with 32 points, 16 rebounds, and 16 assists to lead Denver to a 119-103 victory at the Chase Centre.
Jokic’s outstanding performance earned him his 122nd career triple-double, putting him fourth on the all-time record. Notably, he achieved his third triple-double, with at least 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 16 assists, a milestone shared only with NBA icon Oscar Robertson.
His amazing performance comes in the midst of a tight MVP battle against difficult contenders such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, with Jokic maintaining his position as the frontrunner, especially with Joel Embiid out due to knee surgery.
