Travis Kelce’s father is rooting for his son’s “Love Story” with Taylor Swift.
“I think they’re a wonderful couple,” Ed Kelce told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday about his son’s budding affair with the global celebrity.
“I think they deserve a great friendship with each other, and if it ever goes to more than that.”
“They’re two wonderful people and they are enjoying each other’s company and supporting each other,” he said.
He also heaped accolades for the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker.
“I think she’s very genuine,” he added. “She has spent more than half of her life playing in front of large crowds. And for someone to be that stable.”
Swift, 33, and Travis, 34, confirmed romance rumors when the former arrived for the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on September 24.
She has already cheered for the famed tight end at several of his games, alongside his friends and family, including his beloved NFL mother, Donna Kelce, who has already given Swift her blessing.
Ed went on to speculate on why the odd romance could be an “End Game” maneuver.
“I think they are two very, very driven professional individuals,” he told ET. “I think they’re very supportive of each other, which is key.”
“This is not an ideal time for any of them to be in a relationship. “She’s in the middle of this massive tour, and he’s knee deep [in the NFL season],” he added.
“She’s very committed to [her tour] and I think Travis supports that,” he said.
He earlier complimented the singer for not behaving like a “spoiled musician.”

“And I believe she understands Travis’ commitment to sleeping 10 hours a day when his body is going through this. So I believe they are both really supportive.
Ed, who met the 12-time Grammy winner at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game versus the Denver Broncos on October 12, opened up this week about how she wowed him.
“We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around,” he told reporters on Monday.

“And I’m just thinking: I don’t think she got the diva memo. “She didn’t become a spoiled musician,” he explained.
“She’s not sure how to pull that off. And that meant a lot to me.”
Swift has also received approval from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, and his mother, Randi Mahomes.
Swift and Travis confirmed their relationship when she turned up in person to cheer on him and his teammates at the Chiefs’ September 24 game.

Brittany and the “Speak Now” singer have become extremely close, even unveiling a congratulatory handshake at Sunday’s Chiefs vs. Chargers game.
Meanwhile, Randi has shared multiple photos with Swift, complimenting her for being “sweet” to Patrick’s 12-year-old sister, Mia.
And Travis, of course, is completely infatuated with Swift, stating last week that he believes he must be “doing something right” because so many people close to him approve of their relationship.
