In New York City is Klay Thompson, along with his Golden State Warriors colleagues. They are getting ready for their matchup with the formidable New York Knicks on Thursday. Thompson posted a picture of himself in the city on Wednesday, looking out over a portion of the skyline.
The seasoned marksman cut a joyful figure in the photo and wrote, “I love this place,” as a caption. The Warriors are getting ready for their opening night of a back-to-back match on Friday against the Toronto Raptors.
Presumably, Thompson will stick with his new position on the Warriors bench, giving head coach Steve Kerr a closer look at his possible collaboration with Chris Paul.
Thompson recently discussed how his perspective has changed. Based on the picture he uploaded, it’s evident he’s relishing the latter parts of his profession.
Thompson is averaging 19.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in the five games since coming off the bench. He is also shooting 44.9% from three-point range and 47.9% from the field.
