Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback, met Brittany Matthews in high school, and they started dating in 2012 when he was a sophomore and she was a junior. The two, both outstanding athletes in high school, soon began attending proms, each other’s games, and doing things like “just a normal teenage kid showing up at the family dinner type stuff and being nervous and everything,” as Patrick remembered to Today.

Their love remained strong throughout college, and the two, who married in 2021, are now parents to daughter Sterling and son Bronze. They have supported each other through career milestones, Super Bowl triumphs, and sharing matching moments with Taylor Swift.
