Jason Kelce didn’t wait long to engage in a crazy pastime after retiring: diving through a burning table and off the back of a firetruck.
Brother Travis Kelce was smiling, ogling, as Kelce landed butt first on the flaming table that buckled under his weight.
In addition to a full face mask, the now-retired Kelce appeared to be wearing a fire-retardant outfit when he dove onto the scorching table.
A local firefighter patted out the flames on Kelce’s shirt after he completed the leap, with some of it landing on his posterior.
Based in Havertown, Pennsylvania, Jason’s hometown, the Brookline Fire Company appeared to be in charge of the controlled atmosphere where the leap took place.
“All right, let’s go!” Speaking into the camera for a podcast promotional video, Jason said.
The former offensive lineman greeted New Heights with the words, “I’m Jason Kelce. Welcome to New Heights.”
After Kelce’s dive, he stood next to the residual flame, his palms raised in ecstasy as a fireman extinguished it.
Kelce concluded his 13-year NFL career on Monday by retiring.
It is anticipated that a broadcasting career will be pursued by the former offensive lineman.
