Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers were the guests of the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night in Texas.

   
The Mavericks lost the game 137-120 after collapsing in the third quarter.

All-Star Luka Doncic was observed getting upset on the bench during a timeout and hurled a water bottle to the ground (h/t NBA on ESPN).

In 43 minutes of action, Doncic finished with 39 points, ten rebounds, and eleven assists while shooting 15/30 from the field and 4/13 from three.

Nevertheless, the Mavs have dropped their previous ten games 5-5 and are currently riding a three-game losing streak.

 

Despite having an inconsistent season, the Mavs are currently 34-28 after 62 games, good for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

In 33 games played at home, they have an 18-15 record; in the 29 games they have played away from Dallas, they have a 16-13 record.

Currently in his sixth NBA season, Doncic has played for Dallas Mavericks. In 2022, he guided the Mavericks to the Western Conference Finals.

They did, however, miss the NBA playoffs and play-in tournament after acquiring Kyrie Irving in the previous season.

The Mavs’ next game after losing to the Pacers is on Thursday night at home against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.

With a 35-26 record through 61 games, the Heat are ranked sixth in the Eastern Conference.
