Klay Thompson arrived in style in San Francisco on Wednesday, ahead of the Warriors’ game against the Milwaukee Bucks at Chase Centre.

The Warriors guard took his favourite boat for a sail around the Bay before Wednesday’s big game, and he was kind enough to invite Dub Nation along for the voyage by broadcasting live on Instagram and documenting his commute.

“What a day,” Thompson exclaimed. “Look at today, people. Look at this. Look at this. That is nice. Are you kidding me? Wow.”

Captain Klay is no stranger to unexpected pregame arrivals.

When he is not riding his bike into Chase Centre, he is boating through the Bay.

While basketball is his primary love, the Splash Bro’s second passion is the water, where he likes sailing in his spare time.

But on Wednesday, he’ll get to indulge in both of his interests as the Warriors visit Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Eastern Conference’s second-seeded Bucks for a chance to climb the Western Conference standings with the NBA playoffs just around the horizon.
