The Nike Kobe 8 is the eighth iteration of Kobe’s footwear series, released in 2013. Bryant averaged 27.3 points, 6.0 assists, and 5.6 rebounds that season as he sought his fifteenth career All-Star selection. The Kobe 8, with its stylish form and brilliant color palette, was a huge success. As with the last iteration, Nike will stick to the original specifications for this edition.

The Nike Kobe 8 ‘Venice Beach’, which was near the Staples Centre at the time, pays homage to the town and its beach.
