Travis Kelce met a very special guest at Justin Timberlake’s concert.

Kelce, 34, was spotted at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 13, where Timberlake, 43, surprised his former ‘NSync bandmates — Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick — with a rendition of their song “Paradise.”

Kelce was beaming in images posted by Kirkpatrick’s wife, Karlyn Skladany, as he posed with the couple’s 6-year-old son, Nash. “Something big happened tonight,” Skladany captioned an Instagram Story on Wednesday, showing Kelce with one arm wrapped around Nash’s shoulders.

Kelce has a long history with Timberlake, who reportedly admitted to getting knocked down by the athlete during a Las Vegas golf tournament.

“He went up and did one of those [side body bumps], you know, when they jump,” Timberlake said on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in January. “I said, ‘He’s doing it. I have to do it. And I forgot that he weights around 80 pounds more than me.

Host Jimmy Fallon joked that Timberlake “basically got tackled” before playing a video of the incident.

Timberlake stated that his neck was stiff for “about a week” following the encounter with Kelce, adding, “[People were like,] ‘What happened to you?'” Travis Kelce. He is the best, by the way. “[One of the] nicest guys ever.”

Kelce was in for a treat during Wednesday’s event, as he saw ‘NSync play together for the first time in more than a decade.

The boy band started in 1995 and rose to fame with hits like “Bye Bye Bye” and “Tearin Up My Heart.” In 2007, Bass stated that the trio had split up to pursue separate endeavours.

‘NSync has since worked on several new songs, including “Better Place” from the third Trolls film. Bass exclusively announced their upcoming collaboration in an interview with Us Weekly earlier this month.

“The song is titled ‘Paradise.’ We recorded it a while ago and have been sitting on it. “This is a difficult secret to keep,” he explained. “I’m so glad [Justin] confirmed it because it’s like, ‘OK, I can talk about ‘Paradise.'”

Bass stated that the new track has become one of his “favourite songs we’ve ever recorded together.”

“My mother cried when she first heard it. I definitely shed a tear. And I’ve heard Justin’s entire record, and it’s fantastic, so I’m honoured to be able to have a ‘NSync song on this new album, because I believe it will be a great, massive album,” he added. “Fans will be very pleased. It is extremely ‘NSync. Everyone usually says, ‘Well, the Trolls song didn’t sound like ‘NSync.’ Okay, it’s for a movie. But on this one, I believe fans will really notice the ‘NSync sound because it’s all about the harmonies.”

Bass also commented on the band maybe regrouping for something more official.

“We’re definitely open to everything right now, so we’ll see where it leads,” he told us. “Right now, we just want to focus on Justin’s album and tour. Let him get through that, because it will be extremely difficult. So right now, all we want to do is show him our full support. And then we’ll see what happens next, but the future looks extremely promising.”
