On Tuesday night, Denver Nuggets great Nikola Jokić and his 2-year-old daughter Ognjena attended a game against the Vancouver Canucks at Ball Arena, surprising Colorado Avalanche fans.

During the second quarter, the Jumbotron showed Jokić’s daughter cheering along with the audience chanting, “MVP!”

What a beautiful occasion.

The Denver Nuggets’ star center demonstrated his support for his sister KSE squad by applauding and cheering beside his daughter Ognjena.

Jokic has attended multiple Avs games in the past, and it must have been simple to ask his boss for a glass seat given that he was already working in the building just a few hallways down. Jokic has also attended games for the Los Angeles Rams, an NFL franchise owned by KSE.

Jokic’s time in Denver may have piqued his interest in hockey, as there has only been one prominent NHL player from his native Serbia—Ivan Boldirev.

The Avs are seeking their second straight home win on Tuesday following a long, difficult road trip to the east coast.

Jokić, who played in his sixth All-Star Game on Sunday, is returning to Denver for the NBA’s annual break.
