The Lakers are limping into their game against the Atlanta Hawks on the second night of a back-to-back due to injuries to Anthony Davis and LeBron James.
Davis (eye) is back in action after missing a portion of the Lakers’ loss to the Warriors on Saturday night.
James (ankle) is also active, but his persistent injury appears to be something he’ll have to deal with for the rest of the season, despite frequent appearances on the report.
Trae Young (hand) is out for Atlanta for the foreseeable future. Atlanta is without its greatest player, scorer, and passer without him, yet they still outperformed the Clippers last night, winning 110-93 because to Dejounte Murray’s outstanding performance.
The Lakers should be able to win tonight, especially as 9.5-point favorites, because a loss would be both unforgivable and harmful to their seeding.
