Travis Kelce is allegedly in talks to host a remake of the game show “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” on Amazon Prime Video.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is reportedly looking to return to showbiz after participating on “Saturday Night Live” and the reality dating show “Catching Kelce.” He also has a successful podcast with his older brother, Jason Kelce, who recently retired from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Variety was the first to disclose the story, which was later confirmed by People.
“Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” was initially hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy on Fox, and the revival may be more celebrity-focused, according to Variety.
The original series ran for four seasons on Fox before being relaunched on Nickelodeon with host John Cena.
It’s uncertain whether Kelce could fit shooting into his NFL schedule — or his jet-setting with pop star fiancée Taylor Swift. And, at 34 years old, he may be considering retirement. His brother retired earlier this month, at the age of 36.
