When Russell initially arrived at Davis’ estate, the podcast started. Fans caught a glimpse of his Mercedes Maybach, which sells for $419,750, or nearly half a million dollars, when they passed through the main entrance, according to Edmunds.com.

Russell then took a tour of Davis’ estate. The All-Star center paid $31 million to buy the Bel Air Crest house.

Fans may see memorabilia from the basketball superstar’s tour, such as a photo with the late NBA legend and Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant and the 2020 Orlando Bubble title, when Davis walked Russell around the house.

Russell’s new podcast, The Backyard Podcast, welcomed Davis as its second guest.

Anthony Davis discusses why he became emotional after winning his first NBA championship.

In 2020, Anthony Davis helped the Los Angeles Lakers win the NBA championship. The Orlando Bubble is where the 17-time NBA champs won their championship. On D’Angelo Russell’s The Backyard Podcast, Davis discussed what it means to win a title for the first time in his professional career.

After the Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in six games, Dwyane Wade explained his emotional response to winning the championship.

When we won the championship, I finally had time to contemplate everything that had happened to me throughout my career. This was the first chance you got to really think about it, and it’s the complete meme of me crying while sitting there with a little twist,” he said (the segment starts at 45:18).”It hit me like you waited for this moment your whole career, it was a surreal moment and everything that I have worked for and been through, this was the year it finally paid off.”

The Lakers and Anthony Davis have struggled with injuries and interpersonal issues this season, jeopardizing their chances of winning the championship. With a 27-25 record, they are ranked ninth and have won three consecutive games. They also won the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament in early December.

Davis has made 48 appearances and averages 24.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game.
