In the third quarter of the Golden State Warriors’ Wednesday night game against the Memphis Grizzlies at Chase Center, Stephen Curry took a handoff from Draymond Green at the top of the key.
He couldn’t achieve the desired look with only one dribble.
So he gave the ball to Jonathan Kuminga on the weak side flank and purposely moved to the corresponding corner, where Brandin Podziemski would confront him with a handoff.
Curry’s 3-pointer was his 300th of the season and part of a 22-0 run in the second and third quarters for the Warriors, who won 137-116 at Chase Center to end a three-game losing streak.
Kuminga led the Warriors with 26 points, while Klay Thompson added 23 and Andrew Wiggins had 22.
Curry hit 300 3-pointers for the sixth time in a season, giving him five of the NBA’s top seven all-time. Thompson and James Harden, a guard for the Los Angeles Clippers, are among those who have done it.
