Travis Kelce’s mother has responded to online vitriol directed at her son as a result of suspicions about his relationship with Taylor Swift.
Travis Kelce has recently made headlines for his suspected relationship with Taylor Swift.
The ‘Love Story’ singer has been sighted at Kansas City Chiefs games alongside Travis’ mother Donna, and unfortunately, it’s not just Swifties who’ve jumped on the social media bandwagon to weigh in on Taylor and Travis’ apparent blooming romance, but Debbie Downers as well.
Nobody shuts down haters better than an upset mother.
Travis admits to attending one of Taylor’s concerts and attempting to offer her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, sparking rumors.
Taylor was later observed at one of Travis’ games, the Chiefs versus the Chicago Bears, and not only that, but the singer was seen in a private box adjacent to Travis’ mother.
Taylor has since attended another game and been recorded by NBC cameras; however, the ‘Blank Space’ singer’s participation on television did not go down well with football fans, with an advertisement for her Eras Tour even being booed.
Not only has Taylor received a harsh reaction, but so has Travis.
.
She told TODAY.com, “I believe they’re simply tired of it. […] Especially if they’re really into their teams, it’s like, “Enough.” We don’t want to hear about them any more. I believe that is what it will eventually come to.”
Travis’ mother also expresses her belief that ‘financially’ it is ‘a good move for a lot of different individuals to hop on the bandwagon right now’ and speculates about her son and Taylor’s possible romance.
But what would Donna say to the haters?
Donna responded to the nasty comments.
She just doesn’t’really answer’.
“People are going to be either jealous or tired of it or whatever, and they can make whatever comments they want,” she says. “But I don’t have to agree with them or be upset by them.”
Finally, the mom decides: “It’s just their opinion.” And only my viewpoint matters.”
