Patrick Mahomes is best renowned for his throwing ability, but it turns out he can also catch fish.
On Thursday night, the Chiefs quarterback’s wife Brittany posted a humorous Instagram photo of Mahomes showing his three-year-old daughter Sterling a large catfish that he appeared to have caught.
Sterling didn’t seem pleased by her famous father, much to Brittany’s amusement in her Instagram picture.
‘Ster is not a fan of fish the same size as her,’ Brittany tweeted, accompanied by a crying-with-laughter emoji.
The Mahomes family is presently enjoying their offseason after Patrick led the Kansas City Chiefs to their second consecutive Super Bowl triumph last season.
Patrick Mahomes snagged a big catfishβnot that his daughter Sterling seemed too thrilled.
His wife Brittany shared the humorous image on her Instagram on Thursday evening.
Travis Kelce and Mahomes want to throw Chiefs parties at their new eatery.
The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Las Vegas in February and will return next season with a chance to complete an unprecedented ‘three-peat’.
While Mahomes has been fishing, Travis Kelce, his Chiefs teammate, has been hitting the golf course.
Former NBA star Chandler Parsons filmed him celebrating a shot by playing air guitar with his iron while fiancΓ©e Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ played in the background.
Mahomes and Kelce just announced that they are opening a restaurant in Kansas City, which they hope will open in January 2025.
It will be dubbed ‘1587 Prime’, which is the combination of Kelce and Mahomes’ Chiefs jersey numbers.
“Me and Travis have been working on it for a while,” Mahomes told Fox4KC.
We always see these places, and we enjoy bringing people together. I believe the most important thing for us is to continue bringing people together, and what better place to do it than in Kansas City?
‘Hopefully we can win some games at Arrowhead Stadium, and then we can go over and have some beverages and food.’
If 1587 Prime decides to include fish on the menu, Mahomes looks to be fully prepared to deliver it himself.
