Jokic grabbed the rebound and drove all the way down the court, completing a layup as star rookie Victor Wembanyama challenged his attempt.

Jokic is having another fantastic season, averaging 26.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, 9.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 57.9% from the field and 34.6% from three in 72 games.

The Nuggets are also one of the top teams in the NBA, with a 52-23 record in 75 games, tying them for first place in the Western Conference.

They have gone 7-3 in their previous ten games, most recently defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-101.

Following San Antonio, the Nuggets will play the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night.

Wembanyama has a great chance of winning the 2024 Rookie of the Year award.

In 66 games, he has averaged 21.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 3.4 blocks, while shooting 46.8% from the field and 32.3% from three.

However, the Spurs are the Western Conference’s 15th seed (last place), with an 18-57 record in 75 games.

The Spurs will travel to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday evening after their game against Denver.
