Here are some highlights of Jokic’s ninth season:

Nikola Jokic scores 42 points and defeats Victor Wembanyama in the Nuggets’ 110-105 victory over the Spurs.

Most impressive game: In a March 11 victory over the Toronto Raptors, Jokic had 35 points, 17 rebounds, 12 assists, six steals, and two blocks, giving him one of the league’s best stat lines.

Most notable achievement: In a February victory over the Wizards, Jokic joined LeBron James and Russell Westbrook as the only NBA players to record a triple-double against every opponent. That game, he went 10-for-10, recording his fourth triple-double with perfect field shooting. That’s an NBA record.

The most astonishing play came from Jokic, who banked in a 39-foot game-winner at the buzzer to lead the Warriors to a 130-127 win. With the game tied at 127 points and 3.6 seconds remaining, Aaron Gordon hit Jokic on the inbound pass, and the Serbian star dribbled three times before shooting a rainbow three over Kevin Looney.
