After the premiere of the ANTA KAI 1 “Artist on Court” went down a storm, Kyrie Irving has re-teamed with sneaker marketplace KICKS CREW to sell his next release exclusively. Irving is the Chief Community Officer and an investor in KICKS CREW, which he joined in December 2023.
Irving’s second ANTA trademark release will draw from his heritage and his unparalleled basketball skills. The upper design of the “Enlightened Warrior” colorway draws inspiration from Indigenous and African American civilizations. Four bright colors—red for strength, yellow for speed, green for focus, and purple for agility—stand out against the largely black and white palette, representing Irving’s fundamental beliefs as a player.
Kyrie Irving’s unique demands and explosive style of play informed the design of these sneakers, which feature cutting-edge ANTA basketball technology. The lockdown strap and aerodynamic woven upper provide stability and comfort for rapid cuts and direction changes. Maximum energy return and explosive motions are aided by the TPU sidewall and carbon fiber plate along the midsole. A Nitroedge midsole and a threaded outsole are included in the shoes to make them long-lasting, comfortable, and lightweight for playing.
The distinctive color scheme, which draws on Irving’s Native American and African American heritage, is the most distinctive feature. The patterns on the upper deftly incorporate the four primary hues, while the huge ANTA midsole emblems feature green and pink.
