The Denver Nuggets finished the 2023-24 regular season as the second seed in the Western Conference. Denver will face either the Los Angeles Lakers or the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the playoffs, so they can’t prepare for just one opponent. Los Angeles and New Orleans will square off in the 7th vs. 8th seed play-in tournament game, with the winner facing Denver.

Nikola Jokic stated on the broadcast following Denver’s season-ending victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, “I’m ready to fly home. We just opened a pool a number of days ago, so I’m looking forward to spending some time there with my daughter. That excites me right now.”

Jokic stated that taking some time off would be beneficial. simply to heal up, maybe you want to play again simply to get some joy back. The playoffs are approaching, so the fun part begins.”

The Nuggets hope to repeat as champs and believe they have what it takes to accomplish it. With Jokic leading the way, Denver will be a difficult opponent for anyone. The Nuggets, who won their first title last year, are favored by many to win it all again this season.
