Taylor Swift adored boyfriend Travis Kelce’s brother Jason and his shirtless antics at the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday, the tight end admitted.
Jason, whose season ended last week when the Philadelphia Eagles were upset by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round, reacted enthusiastically to his brother’s first of two touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills.
Despite his wife Kylie’s advice to be on his best behavior when they saw Taylor for the first time, Jason opted to remove his shirt in the VIP suite at Highmark Stadium.
Following Travis’ first touchdown, Jason was captured roaring into the night without his top on, brandishing a can of beer in the 20-degree temperature. His wife Kylie could be seen in the background, astonished, as the celebrations in the suite erupted, while mom Donna pointed at Jason and went berserk.
He was then sensationally caught jumping out of the box’s window and climbing into the seats to rejoice with the hundreds of fans who had filled the stadium. He drank the rest of his beer before jumping back out the window in amazing scenes.
Jason Kelce took off his shirt to celebrate his brother Travis’ touchdown in Sunday’s game.
Jason went wild when Travis scored his first touchdown in eight games, putting the Chiefs ahead.
Travis said that his fiancée Taylor Swift ‘really liked’ his brother’s game-day antics.
Kylie reportedly told Jason via Patrick Mahomes’ father to ‘get his a** back’ in the box, and on his and Travis’s New Heights podcast Wednesday, the Eagles star confessed he didn’t think his wife was thrilled with his celebration.
Jason began, “I don’t think she was happy about it, to be honest with you.”
Travis, on the other hand, claimed she didn’t appear irritated, adding: ‘There was one image and it was her kind of smiling and laughing at it, and kind of for it.’
‘I am not going to lie, I gave her a heads up.’ Jason stated. ‘The instant we stepped into the suite, I exclaimed, “I’m taking my shirt off and jumping out of that suite.” And she exclaimed, “Jason, don’t you dare!” I am not asking for permission; I am doing this.
‘Once a Kelce man is determined, there is no f***ing stopping him,’ Travis added.
‘She was already asking me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor,’ Jason explained. ‘She says, “Be on your best behavior!” I was like, “Kylie, the first time we met, I was blacked out drunk and fell asleep at the pub. This is part of Kelce’s appeal. This is part of Jason Kelce’s charm. I want to create a good first impression, and this is my best chance.
The pop star went to one of her tight end beau’s Kansas City Chiefs games once more.
Jason’s wife, Kylie (center), told him to be on his best behavior in front of the singer.
While Kylie may not have been a fan of her husband’s pranks, Travis stated that his popstar girlfriend fell in love with his siblings after seeing them for the first time.
‘Ah dude, Tay said she truly adored you,’ he replied. ‘I felt like I was in a scene from “Old School” where Will Ferrell is f***ing running, “we’re going streaking, we’re going down to the quad!”
Jason stated that he would have upped it up a level if the Bills Mafia had encouraged him to, but claimed that swapping beers was what pushed him over the brink.
He stated, ‘If some of these Bills Mafia had said, “We’re going streaking,” I would have been right there with them.
‘You’d have been running down the street like Blink 182. “All the little things,” Travis continued, before adding, ‘I might get this image drawn, of you screaming out of the suite with a beer in your hand.’
The songstress was spotted with Jason for the first time ahead of Chiefs vs. Bills.
The star was also spotted in the suite with Kylie (right) and Donna Kelce (second right).
‘I believe part of the problem was that I was drinking one beer mostly at the Big Tree Inn, and then when you transition from dark to browns and things like that,’ Jason alleged.
But Travis was having none of it, adding, ‘You’re a Kelce, that kind of s*** doesn’t bother you.
‘But yeah, that image… Everyone is saying, “Put that thing in the Louvre”. To be honest, I’m thinking about getting someone to make that portrait; it’s magnificent and a moment I’ll never forget. I definitely saw everything after the game. I was asked about it on the field, and I replied, “I have no idea what my brother has been doing during the game.”
Travis and the Chiefs face the Baltimore Ravens in their sixth consecutive AFC Championship game on Sunday, but it’s unclear whether Jason will travel to support his brother once more.
