Jason Kelce, a Philadelphia Eagles star, had a hectic couple of weeks as he announced his retirement from the NFL and then made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 40.
Jason Kelce lost his Suρer Bowl ring in a unique incident involving a puddle of spaghetti, chili, and cheese.
The Philadelphia Eagles star fumbled the diamond-encrusted token during an unusual challenge at the University of Cincinnati’s ‘Great Lombaby Games’ event, which he and his brother Travis officiated. As part of the bizarre exercise, two inflated paddling pools were filled with pasta, dairy, and spicy beef sauce, each with a pair of socks, one with Jason’s actual Suρer Bowl ring and the other with a counterfeit.
“There was an unfortunate-ness, as you guys know, this game existed because I continuously lose my Suρer Bowl ring, and I don’t even know if Travis still knows this, but I legitimately lost my Suρer Bowl ring in this event,” Jason said in an interview with the New Heights podcast.
“They couldn’t find it; we still haven’t found it. All of this material has been discarded, therefore I believe my Suρer Bowl ring is currently in a landfill somewhere in the Cincinnati-tristate area. I didn’t expect that to happen.”
Travis called his older brother a “tf imbecile” after hearing about the surprise , questioning what Jason had intended after putting his ring into a tub of food. He expected the ring would be recovered after the event but was puzzled about how it could have gotten lost after finding it.
In reaction to hearing about the unexpecteԀ blunder, sibling Travis labelled his older brother a “f***ing imbecile”, questioning what outcome Jason had expected after plunging his ring into a tub of food. He’d assumed the ring would be retrieved post-event, though speculated on how it could have got lost after discovery.
“The only thing I can think of is at some point, the sock got kicked out of the three-way and it made its way out of the pool and it was thrown away in some shape or form,” Jason continued.

Kelce is among the most popular figures in the NFL.
“But the Suρer Bowl ring is officially gone. We’ve already filed an insurance claim, and I believe the insurance company will have some influence on whether they’ll cover it.
Jason then explained his ideas to Travis regarding finding a successor. “Somebody messed with my Suρer Bowl ring, which I’m fine with; it’s just a lump of metal, and I’ll just get another one manufactured, right? “They can do that, right?” Jason stated.
Travis, uncertain, said, “I don’t know, Jason” – causing Jason to joke that they were “going to find out”.
Jason departed from the NFL after 13 years with the Eagles at the end of the 2023 season. He helped Philadelphia win Suρer Bowl LII over Tom Brady’s New England Patriots in 2018, capping the city’s 57-year quest for a national championship.
