According to Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, teammate Travis Kelce’s reputation as a hard partyer may not be accurate.
“He puts on this persona like, ‘I’m partying, I’m drinking [or] whatever’ but he’s really super intelligent,” Patrick, 28, explained on the Thursday, May 2 episode of Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast.
However, when Travis, 34, decides to go all out and party, Patrick is no longer able to go drink for drink with him. “No, I cannot [keep up with him],” the quarterback said, adding, “I think I used to and then I had kids.” He stated the same is true for Travis’ brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce.
“Jason has kids too, so he has to pick and choose, but when he chooses, he can go,” he said.
Travis and girlfriend Taylor Swift attended Patrick’s 15 and Mahomies Foundation dinner in Las Vegas on April 27. While the Cleveland, Ohio native did his little cringeworthy “Viva Las Vegas” scream upon entering the stage to help auction off items, Travis demonstrated that he was in charge and not partying too hard.
Taylor Swift was seen holding hands with Travis Kelce in Vegas.
He praised Taylor, 34, as his “significant other” and offered four tickets to her Eras tour’s last stops in the U.S. this fall. Travis received a final bid of $80,000, which went to Pat’s charity.
The couple “walked in holding hands and were affectionate all night,” according to an eyewitness who spoke with Entertainment Tonight. According to the insider, there was “lots of kissing and just overall happiness between” the couple. Travis was then caught affectionately clutching Taylor’s backside at the gala.
Fans and several Swifties became concerned about Travis’ drinking after he became so inebriated during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 2024 victory parade that he was unable to sing Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places” on stage. He slurred his words, forcing Pat to jump in and lead the throng in the chorus.

However, the athlete was in a high-spirited celebratory mood when he attended Patrick’s Chiefs team party in Las Vegas on February 24.
Travis and Taylor went to the 2023 Coachella Music Festival on April 13, when the “Cruel Summer” singer unleashed free. Before heading to the Neon Carnival dance tent, the couple danced and kissed in the audience while seeing her friend Ice Spice perform.
Squid Game alum Jackie Gonzalez, who is deaf and can read lips, claims that the “Karma” singer once told her partner, “That was the best thing that happened tonight.” “I’m sorry, I’m drunk.”
Taylor begins the European part of her Eras tour on May 9, while Travis prepares to host the game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, before returning to work with the Chiefs in training camp this summer.
