Zac Efron may have established the athlete-musician stereotype in the film with his appearance as Troy Bolton in High School Musical, but Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are living it in real life.

The Ricky Stanicky actor is now aware of the similarities fans are seeing between the modern-day power couple’s romance and Bolton and Gabriella Montez’s (Vanessa Hudgens’) childhood love story.

“Wow, I didn’t think of it. That’s very cool. “Shout out to all the High School Musical fans,” the 36-year-old said to E! News earlier this week. “I enjoy the entire Travis, Taylor stuff. I’m so thrilled for them. They are two of the best people in the world. “How could you not be excited?”
