Quarterback Russell Wilson of the New Steelers and his wife Ciara know how to celebrate their son’s birthday. Future will surely always remember the moment he watched an NBA playoff game from the courtside.
Those shoes, though, came later. As a matter of fact, two sets. Wednesday, the Wilsons were in Boston at TD Garden to see Jayson Tatum and the Celtics play the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Tatum gave 10-year-old Future two signed shoes after the Celtics won a place in the Eastern Conference championship series. To give the Wilsons a show, Tatum added 25 points as well.
Future’s tenth birthday was celebrated with the trio front and center at TD Garden during Boston’s 113-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Wilson sold his house for $21.5 million, according to Seattle news source King5. In April 2022, after leaving the Seahawks for the Broncos, he initially listed it for sale. Then he played two seasons in Denver before moving to Pittsburgh to join the Steelers.
Not included in the selling price is a plot of land that encircles the 11,100 square foot house. A different buyer purchased the site two years ago for $9.75 million. There was a pickleball and basketball court on the Wilson property. It included 110 feet of lake front as well.
There were a few additional neat characteristics to the house. Along with a cinema and boat dock, it offers six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. A two-story treehouse is another feature. Future surely enjoyed many a delightful afternoon high above the property.
Soon, stage three of OTAs will begin for Wilson and the other Steelers players. The quarterback is already slinging to his receivers. There will be complete 11-on-11 drills, though, when phase three begins on May 21. Naturally, there will be no contacting permitted.
