Travis Kelce watched some ice hockey in Texas!

On Saturday, May 25, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end watched an NHL hockey game between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

In one video published on social media by the Dallas Stars, Kelce nodded and grinned while standing in what seemed to be a suite during game two of the Western Conference finals in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. 

In the caption, the club made a lighthearted dig to Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, by stating that they would be thrilled to have the NFL player on their hockey team. 

“We’ve got a Blank Space (on the back of a Stars jersey), and we’ll write your name @tkelce,” the Dallas Star caption stated, referring to lyrics from Swift’s hit song “Blank Space.”

A second video, shared by the Stars and ESPN, shows Kelce joking and laughing with others during the contest.

“Travis Kelce enjoying some playoff hockey in Dallas ,” the caption read.

The athlete’s appearance at the game, in which the Stars defeated the Oilers 3-1, piqued the interest of his Chiefs teammate, Patrick Mahomes, who jokingly mocked Kelce for attending a game at the stadium after growing up in Tyler, Texas. 

“Yo get out of my arena!! @tkelce go @DallasStars!!!” Mahomes, 28, published a post on X (previously Twitter). 

Kelce responded, ” Gotta love playoff hockey baby!!!” “You have never even skated!”

The social media account for Kelce’s podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, also got in on the action, responding to Mahomes’ tweet with a photo of a young Kelce posing from his time in the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League.

“Big time hockey guy,” the New Heights account captioned the photo.

Kelce’s most recent sporting expedition came after he traveled to Paris to see Swift, 34, play her Eras Tour event on Sunday, May 12.

He was accompanied at the event by Swift’s friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, and he then went on a romantic holiday to Lake Como in Italy with his singer girlfriend shortly after.

Kelce then had his annual Kelce Jam event in Bonner Springs, Kansas, on May 18, when he revealed to PEOPLE his favorite song off Swift’s new album, The Tortured Poets Department.

“I might be a little biased to ‘So High School,'” he told PEOPLE, alluding to the song, which is thought to be about him.
