Ayesha Curry and Stephen “Steph” Curry now have a family of six.

The couple announced the arrival of their fourth child, a boy named Caius Chai, in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, May 26. They revealed that their son was born early on May 11.

“Our darling baby boy decided to come early!! He’s doing fantastic, and we’re finally settling in as a family of six! I am so grateful!” Steph, 36, captioned a black-and-white image of someone cradling the newborn’s small hand.

“Caius Chai 5/11/24,” the NBA star wrote at the bottom of the caption.

Ayesha, 35, appears to have scheduled professional posts on her Instagram account, but she also shared a candid photo of herself with her daughter Ryan during a hike on May 8, just days before Caius arrived.

“Hiking with my Chookas . “My nature girl. ,” she captioned a carousel of photos from the mother-daughter outdoor outing.

Sweet July’s founder announced her pregnancy on the cover of her magazine in March.

In the announcement essay, the cook stated that she and her athlete husband thought their family was complete until one day when they both agreed that “somebody was missing” from the Curry team.

Caius joins his older siblings Riley Elizabeth, 11, Ryan Carson, 8, and Canon W. Jack, 5.

Ayesha wrote in her essay that it was fascinating to see how her children reacted to her fourth pregnancy.

“Getting to experience this through [Canon’s] eyes and through Ryan and Riley’s eyes has been so cool,” she said. “Their perspectives are so different, and it’s been the most exciting thing.”

Steph recently told the Associated Press that he and Ayesha sought to time the birth of their new child to coincide with the NBA star’s debut at the Olympics in Paris.
