Travis Kelce is ready to continue his journey around Europe after admiring the views with Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour.
“He wants to support her as much as he can while he can, so he’s going to [go] back and forth from the U.S. to Europe while he has the time,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, adding that the couple has had a “wonderful time in Europe so far.”
The insider went on to say that “for now, [Travis] can arrange his schedule to be with [Taylor]” ahead of the 2024-2025 NFL season, which he and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, will start off on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
According to Us, Kelce and Swift, both 34, “plan to do more of” “home and décor shopping” when he returns to her side of the pond.
“They love going antique shopping and she’s been helping him pick out some things for his new house in Kansas,” according to a source.
Swift’s Eras Tour sparked their affair after Kelce attempted — and failed — to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number during one of her July 2023 Kansas City shows. Swift confirmed romance rumors by cheering on Kelce during a Chiefs game in September 2023.
Swift launched the European portion of the tour in Paris earlier this month, adding a new section to the act that included songs from her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. Among the track list additions is the song “So High School,” which many Swifties believe is about Kelce.
The song, which acts as the outro to Swift’s performance of “But Daddy I Love Him,” has multiple references to Kelce. In addition to the stage’s steps and a screen with projections of bleachers and stadium lights, observant fans noticed that the song’s choreography included some of Kelce’s touchdown dances.
Kelce witnessed her live performance of the song on May 12 in Paris, which happened to be her 87th gig on the tour (the same number as his Chiefs jersey). Attendees noticed the athlete singing along with Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper at the concert, as well as shooting with his camera light on and cupping his hands over his mouth during the song “Vigilante S-t.” (Not to mention, Swift indirectly referenced the Chiefs by wearing their team colors on some of her new costumes.)
“I had a great time during Tay’s show. Travis exclaimed on the May 15 episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, “Her new rendition of The Eras Tour, I recommend everyone go see it.” “It features her new Tortured Poets Department [album], a few of those songs in the new performance, which means there’s a new segment, new lights, new dancing, new everything to the fucking show. I recommend that everyone get out there and see her. It’s simply unbelievable.”
Travis and Swift recently returned from a brief romantic trip to Lake Como, Italy, in addition to their stay in Paris. Travis returned to the United States for his second annual Kelce Jam music festival last weekend, where he listed “So High School” as one of his favorite Swift songs.
Swift, meanwhile, traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, following her performances in Paris. The tour will next stop in Lisbon, Portugal, before continuing to other nations and ending the European leg in London in August. Swift will return to the United States for further gigs in Florida, Louisiana, and Indiana this fall, before concluding the tour with shows in Canada in November and December.
