The first pair is called “Akoya,” after a type of pearl-carrying oyster. Zhuri, James’ daughter, inspired the sneaker, which is designed to resemble the outer shell of an oyster. The uppers are pearly white with bright orange accents on the logos and heel of the shoe. Light Bone/Campfire Orange-Celestine Blue-Pink Rise-Dark Russet is the official color code. They’ll be available on September 28, 2023, for $200. They will be accessible through the Nike SNKRS app and Nike shops worldwide.

The second pair will have a similar concept and will be called “Abalone Pearl.” While the first pair is inspired by the oyster shell, this pair is inspired by the priceless pearl within the oyster and stands out with a wild blue and green top. The iridescent pattern on the uppers resembles the reflections of sea water and light bouncing off a pearl. The outsole will be ocean blue, and it will reach up through the tongue and sockliner. Although no official release date has been announced, these are expected to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor.
