Travis Kelce isn’t bothered by the Super Bowl LVIII title ring misprint.
On Thursday, June 13, the Kansas City Chiefs were awarded with diamond and ruby-encrusted $40,000 rings to commemorate their 2024 Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers on February 11, 2024.
Fans have recently discovered a slight error on the interior of the rings, which displayed the seeding for Kansas City’s four postseason opponents: the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and Miami Dolphins.
During the June 19 episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, the brothers discussed the Dolphins being placed as the seventh seed rather than the sixth.
“One minor error on the ring: Miami is shown as the seventh seed because it has all of the games you required to win to get there. Miami was actually the sixth seed. I suppose that’s just how the ring is. Nobody’s going to… Are you going to fix it?” Jason stated.

“I don’t give an s—,” Travis said, as Jason inquired, “Does anybody care?”
“I believe it makes it more unique. Like, ‘Oh, yes, we made it extremely thorough, then, oops, we screwed it,’ ” the sports star continued, adding that it “makes it more exclusive.”
“We screwed up about something that means nothing,” he stated.

Jason also asked the Kansas City Star to choose his “favourite” championship ring from the three he has won with the Chiefs.
“I mean, this one’s pretty damn cool,” Travis commented. “This one is huge. It resembles the oval of a football, with just diamonds surrounding it. Looking at it, it reminds you of a championship ring. ‘Damn, that thing feels and looks like a championship ring.'”
“But I would probably say the one from last year was my favourite one,” the NFL star informed his brother, referring to the ring he received when the Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in the 2023 Super Bowl. “The top of the ring comes off and it has a clasp so that you can wear it in different ways.”
Travis stated that if he were to wear one of the costly rings, he “would probably wear that clasp on a necklace,” noting that they are not typically worn anywhere due to their extravagant nature.
Following the ring ceremony at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, the Chiefs posted a video of the jewellery on X. 529 diamonds. 38 rubies. “One back-to-back champion,” the team captioned the video.
