Where did Dwyane Wade live? A more detailed look at the Heat legend’s $22 million Miami mansion

Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, are real estate investors. They sold their Sherman Oaks property for $5.5 million in May, after buying a 17,000-square-foot mansion in Hidden Hills for $17.9 million the year before.

The $22 million price tag is lower than the $32.5 million he was looking for for the oceanfront property, but it is more than double the $10.645,000 he paid for it in 2010.

The three-time NBA champion transformed the land into a 12,000-square-foot house complete with a wine cellar, movie theatre, pool, cabana, and private dock.

The two-story Mediterranean villa features a long, covered entryway, a lush courtyard, and rustic interiors with vaulted ceilings and wooden floors. Both levels have dormer windows.

The mansion has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and a master suite that includes a terrace and salon. The backyard features a spiral staircase, playground, and basketball court painted in the colours of the Miami Heat, with whom Wade spent the majority of his NBA career.

Wade, 39, has been named to 13 NBA All-Star teams in 16 seasons. He won three NBA championships and the scoring title in 2009 with the Miami Heat. He retired in 2019 and bought a share of the Utah Jazz this year.
