She went on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show months later and discussed her admiration of Swift’s song “Betty” from the album “Folklore.”
“I love ‘Betty’ and my mother’s name was Betty, so I really love ‘Betty,'” remarked Roberts. “
The “Pretty Woman” singer also reflected on the time she shared the stage with Joan Baez during one of Swift’s “1989” tour concerts in 2015.
“I took my kids to our first big concert, and Taylor had said before the show, ‘There’s a part in the show where— Would you like to come onstage?'” I said, ‘Oh, I don’t know.’ “I get very nervous,” Roberts remembered, adding that her children eventually pushed her to take the stage.
She stated that the encounter “was pretty surreal.”
Roberts was one of numerous celebrities who received VIP treatment during Swift’s Dublin concert on Sunday. Kelce, Stevie Nicks, and Florence Hunt from “Bridgerton” were among the others.
Kelce travelled to Ireland after attending his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s wedding in California.
Swift appeared shocked by Kelce’s entrance to the concert, as evidenced by her spontaneous grin while singing “August.”
