Dario Saric is coming off a 64-game season with the Golden State Warriors.
He finished the season averaging 8.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, shooting 46.6% from the field and 37.6% from three.
On Saturday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced that Saric would sign with the Denver Nuggets.
According to Wojnarowski, “Free agent F Dario Saric has agreed on a two-year, $10.6 million contract with the Denver Nuggets, sources tell ESPN.” The deal contains a player option for the second year.
Saric was selected 12th in the 2014 NBA Draft and has spent 10 seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Oklahoma City Thunder (in addition to Golden State).
In 477 regular-season games, he has averaged 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists while shooting 44.5% from the field and 36.2% from three.
He’s also appeared in 24 NBA postseason games with the Suns and 76ers.
The Warriors concluded the season with a 46-36 record, making them the tenth seed in the Western Conference.
They fell to the Sacramento Kings in the play-in tournament and therefore missed the NBA playoffs.
The Nuggets earned the Western Conference’s second seed, with a record of 57-25.
They defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs, but fell to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 7 of the second round.
