NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown, who led the Celtics to their 18th championship, travels to Mecca with Tacko Fall to undertake Umrah

Alongside his former teammate Taco Fall, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown performed the Umrah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, Brown, 27, was photographed doing the act of worship in front of the Kaaba with Fall and a few other males.

After converting to Islam in 2021, Brown acknowledges the significance of the faith’s customs and how it has changed his life in ways that go beyond basketball.

The guard told the Boston Herald in 2022, “Ramadan is something special. It’s something that’s saved my life in a lot of ways.”

Since certain things are, in fact, bigger than basketball, “shoutout” to everyone who is taking part and to everyone who behaves with respect. ุ ุุ

When Brown recently gave two fans a personalised ring back that he had misplaced at the Celtics’ July 2 victory parade, he demonstrated the charity that his faith preaches.

Brown shared a video of himself with his Instagram followers, Adi and Luke. Brown’s friend received the ring from them, and then the NBA player got out of an SUV to thank them directly.

On Causeway Street in Boston, the former Berkley star requested the fans not to be loud as he gave them gifts as a token of his appreciation while sporting a hoodie and sunglasses.

With a signed ball and jersey in hand, Adi says to Brown, “We really just wаnted you to have it back.” Luke initially refused to accept the envelope that Brown seemed to be offering them.

Brown led the way for Boston to get their historic 18th NBA title after beating the Dallas Mavericks in 5 games.

He proved worthy of his five-year, $304million supermax extension with the Celtics in 2023 by averaging 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists in the NBA Finals.
