UPDATE: Check out the Dallas boys’ cool airport outfits for their new trip

The Minnesota Timberwolves will play their first home game in a week against a drastically reduced Dallas Mavericks squad on Wednesday night.

Dallas has ruled out important players, including stars Luka Doncic (right ankle sprain) and Kyrie Irving (right thumb sprain), as well as rookie center Derek Lively II (broken nose), for the next game. This leaves three of the Mavericks’ top five scorers out. Dante Exum is likely to join the list as he’s listed as doubtful due to right knee bursitis, and Derrick Jones Jr. is also doubtful due to a left wrist sprain. If Exum misses the game, Dallas will lose four key players.

Notable absentees include Luka Doncic, who has an amazing 34.7 points per game this season, and Kyrie Irving, who has an average of 25.2 points. Kyrie has been out for the past four games due to a thumb injury, while Jones and Exum have missed the last two games due to separate injuries.

In contrast, the Timberwolves may be without Mike Conley, who is listed as questionable due to left hamstring tightness. Despite possible setbacks, the Timberwolves recaptured the Western Conference lead with a 107-101 win over the Thunder on Monday night. On the other side, the Mavericks, who are eighth in the West, have only won two of their previous six.
