Travis Kelce spent a lot of money on Taylor Swift’s immensely popular Eras Tour, which stopped in Milan last weekend. Swift played twice in the fashion-forward city of Italy last week, and Kansas City Chiefs player Kelce made sure his girlfriend left with some luxurious gifts.
According to the Sun, Kelce spent over $75,000 on 14 pieces from Valentino, Prada, Bottega Veneta, and Fendi. It appears that Kelce purchased Swift outfits, performances, and additional accessories. Even though he wasn’t in Italy for the shows—rather, he was playing golf with his older brother Jason—the NFL athlete seemed to have taken the time to celebrate Swift’s visit to one of the world’s fashion capitals.
“He desires for her closet to have an authentic Italian feel.” Travis likes Valentino, both for Taylor and himself. The presents reportedly include a $3,300 pocketbook, a $9,200 sleeveless Prada dress, and a $4,400 mini-dress. Swift was last seen in Germany with Kelce as she embarked on the final part of her four-month European Eras tour.
Kelce was spotted this week seeing her perform at Gelsenkirchen’s Veltins Arena. However, he is expected to return to Kansas City soon, since the Chiefs are currently conducting their training camp. This season, the 34-year-old Kelce and his team are aiming for a record third consecutive Super Bowl title.
On Thursday, September 5, they will play the highly anticipated first game of the 2019 NFL season at Arrowhead Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens, who the Chiefs defeated the previous season to go to the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. During the summer, Kelce signed a new two-year contract with the Chiefs, increasing his annual salary to $17 million. Despite hints last year that retirement was on the horizon, the tight end appears to be determined to continue until the age of 36.
Meanwhile, Swift will spend another month traveling across Europe. She will shortly appear in Hamburg, Munich, Warsaw, and Vienna before wrapping out her European tour with five more shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.
