Anthony Davis, the NBA star nicknamed “The Brow,” recently conducted a Twitter poll asking followers whether he should shave his iconic unibrow. The results showed a narrow 51% in favor of bidding farewell to the brow.

Following this, on Saturday, Davis shared a video of himself appearing to shave off his famous feature. However, many skeptics believe it was all a clever setup. Davis was seen in the video holding a towel prominently displaying the logo of his primary sponsor draped over his shoulder. Moreover, the camera conveniently topples over just as he raises the razor to his face.

Given the circumstances, it’s widely suspected that this was an elaborate April Fool’s joke. The skepticism is such that some are even jokingly wagering they’ll shave off both their eyebrows if it turns out to be genuine.
